Whitney shoots weddings herself, no pressure! What a sweet day in Belleville.
We waited (and waited!) out the Sunday crowds for some quiet time at the Scarborough Bluffs. So many stunners from a quick session, I can't wait to shoot their Muskoka wedding next year!
Visited a couple of my favourite spots in Bowmanville and Whitby for this pre-wedding shoot. I seem to have a knack for getting photo-bombed by cyclists...
I teared up once during the speeches, and then again while I looked over the photos. I was so happy to photograph Emily and Jason's wedding at Nestleton Waters Inn. This was the most genuine wedding day that I've been a part of in quite a while.
Ominous clouds, crazy winds, and some rooftop shooting over Toronto's skyline made for some epic wedding photos. So excited to share this next-day preview!
We braved the crowds (and the seagulls!) to shoot the bluffs; can't wait for the wedding!
So yesterday was Tamar and Tom's wedding day. It was sunny and emotional and perfect, and exactly what I needed to inspire me to keep up these next-day wedding previews.
The sun was nowhere to be seen; this couple was super patient with me while I dragged my light stands through the woods to make pretty pictures. Can't wait for the wedding!
I was so excited to shoot in Grafton. I got married there myself 2 years ago (hey Lisa!). Plus there are a MILLION places to shoot, especially if you're willing to be a bit sneaky.
The sun was shining, the air was warm, and I got to spend my evening chasing these two.
Babies, dogs, and Blue Jays. My kind of lifestyle session!
DIY Super Heroes!
A few of my favourites from an awesome newborn session in Brooklin, ON. I enjoy the mix of lifestyle and posed photos, and was glad the cat enjoyed having his photo taken while baby was on her own schedule.
Ashley and Tim celebrated a Valentine's day wedding at the lovely Royal Ashburn Golf Club.
I'm a gear-head. When I photograph a wedding in Ontario, I load my hatchback floor to ceiling with all things photography. In this case, 90% of my trip preparations involved seeing just how much I could squeeze into one carry-on camera bag. Details below the photo
Getting to spend a week with a wedding couple makes all the difference in the world. Largest pool in Jamaica, where else are you going to hang out?
After nothing but blue skies for days, the clouds and rain rolled in just in time for Brit and Jay's destination wedding. The weather didn't slow anyone down
Fall was in full swing, had such an awesome time celebrating with Christy and Boston!
Sometimes it still blows my mind that I get to hang out with people like this, in places like this, and call it work. Can't wait for the wedding next year.
I got to follow Jaclyn and Jesse around for their big day, ending with the most awesome reception at the Jubilee in Oshawa. Thanks so much for letting me be a part of it :)
My favourite thing about shooting in the fall has nothing to do with all the colours… I love that with the shorter days, we can finally drag the whole family out for sunset pics. This was a quick family session at Bowmanville's West Side Marsh.
Engagement sessions are my favourite thing to shoot; lots time to try fun shots and get comfortable. Fall's finally setting in, it was a great night to get out!
Something special about newborn sessions done on-location. Meet week-old Charlee :)
