Nestleton Waters Inn

I teared up once during the speeches, and then again while I looked over the photos.  I was so happy to photograph Emily and Jason's wedding at Nestleton Waters Inn.  This was the most genuine wedding day that I've been a part of in quite a while.

Grafton Engagement Session - Durham Wedding Photographer

I was so excited to shoot in Grafton.  I got married there myself 2 years ago (hey Lisa!).  Plus there are a MILLION places to shoot, especially if you're willing to be a bit sneaky.

The sun was shining, the air was warm, and I got to spend my evening chasing these two.

A behind the scenes look.  Aren't iPhones wild?

Destination Wedding Photographer - Jamaican Edition

I'm a gear-head.  When I photograph a wedding in Ontario, I load my hatchback floor to ceiling with all things photography.  In this case, 90% of my trip preparations involved seeing just how much I could squeeze into one carry-on camera bag.  Details below the photo

Cameras: Canon 5Diii, Canon 70D
Lenses: Tokina 11-16 f2.8, Canon 24-70 f2.8ii, Canon 50mm f1.8STM, Canon 135mm f2
Flashes: (3x) Yongnuo 685's + (2x) YN 622-TX triggers
Accessories: Macro tubes, table-top tripod, (2x) clamps with coldshoes, batteries and chargers, Variable ND filter, CTO gels, speed light grids, Rapid-strap 2-camera sling, triple-flash umbrella bracket, monopod (used to mount umbrella), 25" Savage umbrella softbox.

Getting to spend a week with a wedding couple makes all the difference in the world.  Largest pool in Jamaica, where else are you going to hang out?

My wife and I enjoying our time.

After nothing but blue skies for days, the clouds and rain rolled in just in time for Brit and Jay's destination wedding.  The weather didn't slow anyone down

My wife Lisa lending a hand.  That's 3 flashes inside an umbrella on top of a monopod.

Deer Creek Wedding

Fall was in full swing, had such an awesome time celebrating with Christy and Boston!

Presqu'ile Engagement Session

Sometimes it still blows my mind that I get to hang out with people like this, in places like this, and call it work.  Can't wait for the wedding next year.

Oshawa Wedding Photography - Jubilee

I got to follow Jaclyn and Jesse around for their big day, ending with the most awesome reception at the Jubilee in Oshawa.  Thanks so much for letting me be a part of it :)
